Birding

Birding - one of the great photographic adventures on the Space Coast. A telephoto lens is a must have.

This lens is heavy!! A monopod or tripod is a must have. I shot this Red Tail Hawk handheld - but the photo is a very rare example of handheld images with this lens - in perfect conditions and everything went as planned.

The lens will make excellent images at extreme distances.

No Sacrifice in Image Quality

This is another handheld image. Sandhill Cranes are constantly moving, and getting the right angle is always challenging. As you can see, this Sandhill was facing away from the sun.

The detail this lens can deliver to the patient photographer is second to none.

Deer

Deer are skittish by nature since they are shot at by hunters so often. This photo was taken near my home which is in an animal sanctuary - no hunting (except with imaging equipment of course!)

This photo was taken handheld. If I had my choice, I would have used a monopod for speedy setup but none was available.

None of these three photos would have been possible without a SuperTele like the 800 5.6.
