This little heron was wary of me but I was able to get 30 photos of it and it never flew off. The RF 800 f/11 gave me the distance I needed to keep this bird calm.

This Lens is light, I mean very light. We have an EF 800mm f/5.6L IS that is more versatile, but at a much heavier weight.

This photo was taken at the beach in St. Augustine on my first outing with this lens. This photo is cropped significantly to demonstrate the clarity this lens offers.

Sandpipers are known to be skittish but only if you get too close. This Image of the sandpiper on the St. Augustine inlet rock piles also shows the detail this lens renders.
